Dr. Eby holds a Ph.D. in applied behavior analysis (ABA) from Columbia University, an M.Sc. in ABA from Northeastern University, and a B.Ed. from McGill University.

Prior to establishing TACT, she worked at The New England Center for Children in Massachusetts and The Fred S. Keller School in New York. She has developed and supervised centre-based, home-based, and school-based ABA programs, for children 2-17 years old.

Dr. Eby has taught graduate courses at Brock University, Simmons University, and Elms College, and has published her research in peer-reviewed journals. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis. She lives in Toronto with her husband and three children, and if she’s not chasing them, she can be found training for her next marathon.

I am an Instructor Therapist, where I work one-on-one with our students. I am also a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT). I teach skills to our students and help support their needs while they are at TACT. I help our students manage any behavioural challenges they may face throughout the day.

Prior to starting at TACT, my journey began after graduating from the Toronto Metropolitan University with a BA in sociology. After graduating, I needed some time to evaluate and think about the career path I wanted to pursue. I worked for a few years in the service and retail industry until I decided to go back to school and specialize in a field where I could help and work with people. After doing some research, I found the advanced diploma for the autism and behavioural science program at George Brown College.

I spent the year in the program learning, practicing, and applying the ABA skills that were being taught to me. I was placed at TACT for my 7-week placement as a student. I quickly fell in love with the job, duties and the wonderful and positive learning environment at TACT. I was lucky enough that once I completed my schooling, I was offered a position at TACT.

Outside of TACT many of my hobbies and interests are involved with music. I love playing the drums, writing, and performing live with other musicians.

I also enjoy attending concerts and spending time outdoors. I love watching hockey as I am a huge Toronto Maple Leafs fan!

Things that inspire me are acts of kindness, attending and playing live music, and being able to be creative.

I am the Intake/Administrative Coordinator at TACT. I am originally from Toronto, but lived in Calgary for most of my life and moved back to Toronto in 2021. While living in Calgary, I attended Mount Royal University and earned a B.A. in Anthropology. My degree really inspired my love for traveling and immersing myself in the culture of other countries. Once I graduated, I did two solo backpacking trips and have since visited 18 countries. Prior to TACT, I worked for many years in medical administration. Being able to assist patients with ever changing needs instilled a motivation to keep learning and to grow my skill set.

Upon returning to Toronto, I decided to further my education and went on to complete a certificate in Small Business Bookkeeping from Sheridan College. I was initially drawn to TACT because of my experience growing up with a sibling with ASD. Being part of an organization that works hard to support and nurture children in their early learning experience makes me look forward to going to work every day.

Outside of TACT, I enjoy exercising, spending time with family and friends, checking out new restaurants, and attending trivia events.

I am inspired by my parents. My motivation to work hard and pursue my dreams is because of them. They have supported me in every endeavor and encouraged me every step of the way, and that has shaped me into who I am today.

I am an Instructor Therapist and Case Manager at TACT.

I was born and raised in Brazil, where I started studying nursing at the Ceara State University; before I could graduate, I decided to explore more opportunities outside of my country. I moved to Canada to start studying English, planning to go back home and finish my Nursing Degree. After some time living in Canada, I developed a passion for Psychology, and my previous plan to work as a Pediatric Nurse changed into a new plan. I now hold an Ontario College Diploma from Seneca College where I completed the Behavioural Sciences Program. During College, I did my placement experience at TACT where I learned so much from everyone not just professionally, but also as a person.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, reading, having some ''me time'' and I love being outdoors.

I am inspired by my family, especially my mother and my sister. Nature and spirituality also inspire me greatly. Love and kindness are the biggest inspirations in my life.

I am a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and the Associate Director of Caregiver Education at TACT. I joined TACT when it opened its doors in 2019 as an instructor therapist. I hold a Master's degree in Applied Disability Studies with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Brock University. Before my time at Brock, I completed my undergraduate degree from the University of Ottawa in Psychology and Music.

I began my career working in the field of therapeutic recreation and have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals and long-term care homes. I have also had the opportunity to work with adults with developmental disabilities in residential group homes and a creative arts day program.

In my spare time, I love to play violin as much as I can and find so much joy in collaborating with other musicians. I also grew up on a farm and visit often to be a helping hand and to spend time outdoors.

Every day I am inspired by all the little celebrations and big moments I get to be a part of. Cheering on our students with our therapists and our TACT families is the best feeling.

I am the Lead ECE at TACT. I hold a BA from Queen’s University, a graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science, and I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE).

Some of my past work with children includes one to one support work and before & after school programming with kindergarten. I also spent a year volunteering in a preschool classroom for children with special needs as well as in the preoperative care unit at Sick Kids. A highlight for me was spending a month in Mumbai for a school placement working in a childcare centre there!

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and exercising and I am currently trying to learn chess.

I am inspired by the “good days” and the moment you know you and a learner have clicked. Once that connection is made, a world of learning can take place!

I am the Co-Lead Instructor of the Developmental Kindergarten program at TACT. I am currently completing a master’s program in the field of Applied Disability Studies at Brock University, specializing in Applied Behaviour Analysis, with hopes of pursuing a career as a BCBA.  Some of my previous work experiences include teaching swim lessons to children and adults of varying developmental abilities and being a camp counsellor for children at various community centers in Toronto. I have also previously completed an undergraduate placement position working with children and adults with ASD by providing support in academic, social, fitness, art, and daily living skills. I also volunteer at Holland Bloorview Rehabilitation Centre where I provide recreational programming to children living in the inpatient Complex Continuing Care unit.

During my free time I love to travel, try new foods, and spend time with my dog, Rio! I hope to continue travelling and exploring new places around the world!

Hello! I’m Jerrica and I am an instructor therapist at TACT.

I completed my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a Behavioural certificate of achievement from MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta. I’m now in Toronto, pursuing my Masters in Applied Disability Studies with ABA specialization at Brock University.

I’ve been working with children with disabilities in one-on-one, community, and classroom settings since 2018. I worked as a Behavioural Interventionist providing services to children one on one in their homes, implementing skill acquisition plans under the direction of a multidisciplinary team. I’ve also worked as an educational assistant in preschool and kindergarten classrooms supporting autistic students with classroom routines targeting academics, communication, personal care, motor skills, and socialization with peers.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, playing the tabla, cooking, and eating lots of chocolate.

I am a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and the Associate Director of Training & Development at TACT. I started as an Instructor Therapist and practicum student.

I completed my Master’s degree in Applied Disability Studies (M.ADS) at Brock University. Prior to that, I received an Honors B.Sc. from UTSC where I specialized in Psychology and mental health studies and a graduate certificate from George Brown College where I completed the Behaviour Science Technology Program.

My education has created my strong passion in educating others and has prepared me to work with a diverse population. My work history includes working in an after-school program as a program leader and as a Noon-Hour Assistant at a high school working with teenage and young adult males with ASD. By working in these roles, I have learned how to create inclusive social and educational programs for school-aged children with diverse needs and backgrounds and how to create and foster optimal learning environments for learners with different diagnoses and needs.

Having a background in ABA has helped me to learn new skills like snowboarding and skipping. I have used some methods of ABA to track my progress which helped me to learn new tricks. I also really enjoy travelling and hiking.

What inspires me is the desire to find out how far I can go and how good I can become in my field; this ambition comes from my family which is supported by my mom who raised my family as a single mother. I am inspired by my past and remembering how much my mother sacrificed for me and my siblings. I am inspired to be like her and dedicate my life to always trying new things, overcoming challenges, and making lasting memories with my family and friends.

I am the Lead Teacher for the Developmental Kindergarten program at TACT.

I have an Education and Applied Behaviour Analysis at Western University. Prior to that I did my undergraduate degree in psychology and geography at Western University. I am now going into my second and final year of my master's degree in education specializing in ABA at Western University.

I have worked in group home settings for adults with ASD and supported younger individuals with developmental disabilities in respite settings. I previously volunteered in several youth mental health programs with boys and girls club, big brothers and sisters, and as a crisis textline responder at kids help phone.

I love sewing, baking, and going outside with my big orange cat Milo. I love learning and watching others learn about how to be happy and healthy in this complicated world!

I'm Mia. I’m the Co-Lead Instructor of the Developmental Kindergarten program at TACT. I was born and raised in the Philippines, where I graduated with a BA degree in Psychology.

I stumbled upon applied behaviour analysis in my senior year of university, which piqued my interest. Because of my passion and interest in the field, I decided to come to Canada to pursue further studies. I now have a graduate certificate in Autism & Behavioural Science from George Brown College. During my free time, I like reading books, trying new restaurants, and going on walks around the city.

Despite them being back home, my family continues to inspire me everyday to follow my dreams.

Hi everyone! My name is Sarah Allen, and I am an Instructional Therapist at TACT. At TACT, I work one-on-one with individual students and alongside the team and use analytic and practical therapy skills to help improve the student’s day-to-day routine.

I was a placement student from George Brown College for 14 weeks at TACT. From September to December, I worked with the fantastic team at TACT. I was taught daily how to implement various techniques and experienced one-on-one instructional environments. Before my opportunity at TACT, I was a full-time student and worked as a server in my free time while volunteering in camps in the summer.

Some of my interests and hobbies are traveling and seeing new parts of the world, reading and broadening my knowledge, skiing when it's winter in Canada because I don’t love the winter, so it makes it more enjoyable, going to concerts and visiting my friends and family.

Some things that have been inspiring me currently in my life are learning new things and gaining a better understanding of myself and others. Expanding my educational background and skill set, meeting goals I have set for my career and personal life, and my overall happiness inspires me to do what I love and show up for myself every day.

Hello, I am Tia Soja and I’m an instructor therapist in the Developmental Kindergarten program at TACT!

I completed the Behavioural Science Technician program where I graduated from George Brown College. Prior to joining TACT, I was a preschool teacher, engaging with students from the ages of 3 to 5, where I greeted arriving children and assisted them in preparing for daily activities. During my time there, I learned many things and can safely say that working with children is something that I thoroughly enjoy. I also gained experience volunteering at Mount Sinai Hospital in the nursing unit, working with all kinds of patients, specifically focusing on those with physical disabilities.

During my free time, I like to ski and play volleyball as well as cherish time with friends and family. I was born and raised here in Toronto, but I am originally from Serbia and Croatia. Whenever the opportunity arises, I try to visit home to see my family and spend some time there, as well as travel to new places!

I would say that my mom is someone that I take inspiration from. She is not only kind and caring, but approaches her day with the utmost positive attitude and strives to be a role model to both myself and my sister!

My name is Sara Paul, and I’m an instructor therapist. I assist children with their everyday behaviors while helping them develop new skills. Before joining TACT as a therapist, I completed my internship here, where I learned about ABA techniques and ASD from brilliant mentors. I am currently pursuing my education at Seneca Polytechnic College with a focus on Behavioral Psychology.

Outside of TACT, I love exploring new places, trying different foods, and engaging in various activities. I also express myself through art during my free time. My greatest inspiration is my mother, who taught me to be passionate, confident, compassionate, and courageous. I aspire to do the same for others. Additionally, my best friend and partner inspire me to find a path that brings me joy and to always stay true to myself.

Hi! I’m Chantelle Chin and I am an Instructor Therapist and Case Manager here at TACT. I am also a Registered Behavioural Therapist (RBT). I completed my Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Special Education, Applied Behaviour Analysis.

I’ve always had a passion for impacting children’s lives for the better. When I was thirteen in my home country of Malaysia, I founded a charity program for an indigenous primary school where me and my team would conduct low ratio lessons with students who were not accustomed to attending school, and kept this program going until I came to Canada for university. For the last few years, I was involved in developmental research, but ultimately decided that my passion lies in directly helping children achieve their full potential and happiness.

In my spare time, I like to create stories about the worlds inside my head and write, draw and make songs about them. I am inspired by my dad, who is the most amazing doctor ever and taught me to always put my heart into my work, my mom, who taught me how to speak up for myself and be confident in who I am, and my sister, whom I give my everything to.

I am so happy to be part of the team here at TACT. Seeing the kids grow bit by bit every day never fails to put a smile on my face!

Hi, I'm Alishah and I am a Instructor Therapist and Case Manager at TACT. Prior to joining TACT, I graduated with a B.A in Sociology from York University Ontario and a post-graduate certificate in Behavioral Science from Humber College.

I am continuing to work towards becoming a better therapist and educator working closely with families living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I am always learning something new in the field and I look forward to growing with the TACT team.

Outside of work, I am a freelance family and lifestyle photographer. I am always seeking to broaden my horizons. I prioritize health and wellness, regularly practicing hot yoga, a big foodie and I love traveling, always eager to explore new destinations.

My career journey has been an enriching experience, and I'm inspired by the positive energy and expertise of professionals in the field whom I've had the privilege to connect with. I'm excited to bring my enthusiasm and dedication to our work here at TACT!

My name is Kamiya and I am an Instructor Therapist. I have a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and B.Ed in Special Education from India. I got an opportunity to work with children with developmental disabilities during my Masters program which made me realize my passion to work with them.

I decided to move to Canada in 2021 to pursue further studies. I completed the Infant and Child Mental Health course from Seneca College followed by a course in Autism & Behavioural Science from Mohawk College. Through my expertise and knowledge, I hope to pursue my RBT in the near future. I firmly believe that every child is unique and hence it is very crucial to have an understanding of their strengths and challenges. I feel that it is important that we teach with our heart rather than with a book.

I am excited to be a part of this team and looking forward to bringing positive changes into the lives of our clients. I enjoy playing tennis and doing meditation as part of my daily chores and as I believe self care is something that needs attention.

What inspires me is my family back home who have helped me become who I am today and I will always be grateful to them for supporting me in each and every step.
